Pacific Green Sea Turtle
The Pacific Green Turtle is considered as rare. Its characteristics are similar to the one of its cousin, the Green Sea turtle. The weight of an adult sea turtle can be of 126 kg. The hatchlings are dark brown to black. Young specimens have a black back, to brown or yellow, sometimes with olive green stripes.
They are very similar to their cousins the Green Sea Turtle. Unfortunately, the eggs are much appreciated as a food source, incremented by local myths. It is considered a very endangered species, therefore, it is highly important to protect the living animals as well as the nesting an hatch habitats.
