Tours to Tortuguero from Alajuela Costa Rica

We offer tours to Tortuguero national park departing from some of the hotels in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The tours we offer include the 1 day tour, the 2 day Tortuguero tour and the 3 days and 2 nights package tour.
All tours include transportation from the hotel, guide, breakfast en route, lodging, all meals, as well as boat tour in the canals and a visit to the small village of Tortuguero, located right in front of the sea in the Northern Caribbean of Costa Rica.
Hotels in Alajuela:
The hotels in Alajuela where we pick up should be located along the highway, where most of the hotels are, and otherwise, it is still feasible, only that clients should take a cab from their hotel, in case it is located in a more distant area, and will arrive at the established hotel at the established time.
Tours to Tortuguero
.1 day tour to Tortuguero
.The 1 day tour to Tortuguero includes transportation from San Jose, Alajuela, Heredia or surrounding areas to Tortuguero. Breakfast is served on the way at a restaurant on the way, where you will taste a rich Creole breakfast.
Once in Tortuguero, after transportation by boat from the dock of La Pavona, we proceed to tour the canals of Tortuguero National Park, including the respective entrances.
During the tour you will be able to see different animals, such as monkeys, birds, butterflies, dense tropical rainforest, as well as aquatic fauna species, including crocodiles, alligators, freshwater turtles.
Afterwards, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and transportation back to San Jose, Alajuela, Heredia or a nearby area.
Tortuguero 2 day tour
.The 2 day tour to Tortuguero includes transportation to and from the Central Valley to Tortuguero ( includes ground transportation with breakfast on the way and guide ).
Additionally, it includes lodging with taxes included in the chosen hotel, a boat tour through the canals of the National Park, as well as a visit to the village.
Meals included are from breakfast on day 1 to lunch on day 2.
Evening meals are included.
NOT INCLUDED: Entrance fees to the national park and the night turtle tour during turtle watching season.
Special Remark: In case you want to go to other areas after Tortuguero, there is a Shuttle option that takes clients to destinations such as Cahuita, Puerto Viejo, Sarapiqui or La Fortuna. This has an additional cost per person.
Likewise, in case you want to go to Tortuguero from La Fortuna, Puerto Viejo or Cahuita, there is a PRIVATE service which has an additional cost.
3-day tour to Tortuguero
.The classic 3 days and 2 nights tour is the best selling tour to Tortuguero, as it offers time to do all the most important activities, as well as free time to rest. Or take an optional activity on site.
The 3 day tour includes all meals, transportation from San Jose, ( see other options ) as well as the boat tour through the canals of the national park ( entrance fees not included ) and a visit to the village.
We urge you to see the options of the night tour to see turtles on the beach ( only during sea turtle season .

From Alajuela to Tortuguero.
Alajuela is located on the outskirts of San Jose, and is very close to the Juan Santamaria airport.
There are a number of hotels located near the airport, or between the airport and Alajuela and the city of San Jose, and at all of these hotels we can pick you up.
If the hotel is in the more remote areas of Alajuela, we cannot pick you up, due to logistics, but very commonly, clients take a cab and in a few minutes they are at the hotels where we can pick them up.
