DESCRIPTION
This 3-day tour gives you the opportunity to include the best adventure tours and non-traditional activities in a 3-day and 2-night stay. The lodging is carried out in a rustic hotel called La Casona, located in the center of the village of Tortuguero. The rooms are rustic but comfortable. The hotel includes breakfast, and offers a cozy and personalized service.
The tour includes 2 nights of lodging in Tortuguero including taxes, lodging and breakfast. It also includes 4 tours to choose from, and includes a Rafting tour on the famous Rio Pacuare, located in the high mountains of the Caribbean. The Rafting tour takes place on day 3, after the departure of Tortuguero.
Options of Tours to choose during the stay in Tortuguero. It can include 3 additional tours to the Rafting Tour which is included.
Walk along the path of Tortuguero National Park
The Jaguar trail lasts 2 hours. A path parallel to the sea is crossed in the middle of the jungle in search of flora and fauna along with the naturalist guide.
Canoe tour
Explore the Tortuguero canals with a canoe or an electric motor boat (to choose). For 2-3 hours you will tour the canals in search of the rich wildlife.
Night Walk
The night walk lasts 2 - 2.5 hours. Explore the rainforest at night. The tour lasts 2 hours and starts around 6 pm.
Turtle Tour
The sea turtle observation tour takes place during the turtle season (July to October). Patrol the beach for 3 hours in search of nesting green turtles.

Rafting tour day 3 (INCLUDED)
The Pacuare River is one of the best rafting rivers in the world. It is known for the countless class 3 and 4 rapids as well as being located in the middle of one of the largest rainforests in Central America.
On the last day, after the departure of Tortuguero, you will be transferred by land to Siquirres. Once there, we will enjoy a rich breakfast. Once finished, continue for half an hour to the Pacuare River. Once there, the lifejackets will be tested, and training will begin to descend the river.
Now begins an exciting 4-hour descent through one of the most famous and good whitewater rivers in the world, both for its incredible rapids, as well as for the surrounding tropical rainforest.
Halfway, we will enjoy a delicious lunch on the banks of the river and then descend to the starting point, in the town of Siquirres. Continue to the next destination.
What to bring?
In order not to scare the turtles, it is necessary to wear dark clothes, hopefully black or also very dark blue or green. Repellent, sandals or comfortable shoes, sunscreen, rain shield, water and camera are recommended. It is not allowed to carry a camera for the Turtles tour. It is also recommended to carry cash.
