The Tortuguero National Park is located on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. It consist of thousands of acres of tropical lowland rainforest ( similar to the Amazon ) and a vast network of natural canals.

It is inhabited by thousands of species of mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish and insects. One of the most attracting species if the Sea Turtles, that arrive from July to October every year to this turtle haven.

Rainforest Experience

Our trips all include lodging and taxes, full transport from San Jose or elsewhere ( Arenal or the South Caribbean ), a guided boat tour through the jungle canals and a guided visit to the town of Tortuguero.

The boat canal tour is definitely one of the main highlights while in Tortuguero. You can get close to the amazing tropical jungle while discovering the natural fresh and back water canals, that extend for hundreds if kilometers.

Sea Turtles

The Green Sea Turtle is the most abundant species in Tortguero. It nests along the park shores from July to August, and from August to October visitors can see the turtles hatch.
