Tortuguero 3 days tour

3 days Deluxe package

The 3 days and 2 nights is most popular of the Tortuguero trips we offer. The package price includes transport from San Jose to Tortuguero (including van and boat ); a delicious breakfast on the way, a boat transfer through the jungle canals from La Pavona to Tortuguero. The first day, after check in, you will also be taken to the town of Tortuguero, to explore the local lifestyle and visit restaurants, shops or the Sea Turtle Conservancy Museum. All the meals are included. The second day, you will explore the Tortuguero Jungle Canals of the park, entrance fees not included. The third day you will head back to San Jose ( included ); or for an extra charge, we can also take you to Arenal, Puerto Viejo, or any other destination in the country.

Itinerary

Day 1

7:00 to 8:00 a.m. Pick up at almost all hotels in San Jose (clients must have breakfast in their hotels hotels). If you are coming from other areas, Caribbean, Arenal, Sarapiqui please indicate so.

10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Arrival to Caño Blanco dock, it is time to board the boats for the trip to Tortuguero.

1:15-1:30 pm Arrival at the Lodge. Lunch included.

2:00 to 7:00 pm Free time to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi and the gorgeous hotel grounds.

07:30 pm Dinner at the hotel. Optional night tour to search for the Green Turtle (during season July to September)

Day 2

08:00 am Breakfast

9:00 a.m. Tour by boat through the natural canals (National Park entrance fee is also included )

12:00 noon Lunch at restaurant

03:00 pm Free afternoon to relax or enjoy optional tours, such as walking, kayaking and many more.

07:30 pm Dinner at the hotel. Optional night tour to search for the Green Turtle (during season July to September)

Day 3

07:00 am Breakfast at hotel

7:45 a.m. Meet at the dock for the morning departure by boat to the docks.

08:00 am Departure by domestic flight to San Jose

Arrival at 8:30 a.m. local time.

Important Notes

• The order of the type of transportation may vary, and the return by boat and land is also recommended, if you wish to connect another destination after.

• The schedule of the itinerary may change due to weather conditions.

• Baggage is limited to 25 pounds per person for all packages. Luggage heavier than that will pay a fine to the local airline.

• Alcoholic drinks, soda or bottled water and turtle spawning tour are NOT included in the package price..
